Chickubo: Cozy Chicken Farm by NekoCode

Last updated:

NekoCode develops Chickubo: Cozy Chicken Farm. Chickubo works offline without a separate game account or email signup. This notice covers local saves, optional Apple/iCloud sync, App Store purchase records, support, and the Chickubo website. Native purchases and iCloud integration are undergoing validation; availability appears in the game. Privacy questions: nekocode.dev@gmail.com.

Farm Data on This Device

The local save contains chickens, eggs, coins and gems, inventory, housing and upgrades, crops, workshop progress, supplies, timers, offline timestamps, preferences, and tutorial progress. Pending rewards and purchase-delivery records are saved where applicable. Local backup and recovery copies protect the farm. The device also stores the versions and date acknowledged on the title screen.

Apple/iCloud Save

On supported, configured iOS builds, after title-screen acknowledgement, Chickubo can automatically load and save a snapshot in your current Apple/iCloud account’s private CloudKit database. The snapshot field uses Apple’s CloudKit encryption. It includes farm progress, virtual balances, preferences, a random farm purchase identifier, and delivery records where present. It contains no email signup credentials or receipt files. The app uses an app-scoped Apple identifier and a local sync checkpoint to detect account changes and conflicts; it does not request your Apple password or email. NekoCode does not receive a copy of the farm on its own servers.

iCloud Choices and Deletion

Settings → iCloud Save shows availability and lets you pause sync, review conflicting farms, or confirm Delete iCloud save. Deletion clears the synced snapshot and pauses this device, while keeping your local farm and recovery copies. Pause other devices before deleting to avoid another device creating a new snapshot. Uninstalling does not delete iCloud data. Apple controls its own backups and retention. Conflict choices preserve the other farm locally before replacing it. Sync needs internet, iCloud access, and storage space.

Apple Purchases and RevenueCat

When native store services are enabled, the app requests product information from Apple. Apple handles payment details; NekoCode does not receive your card number. StoreKit verifies purchases on the device. A randomly generated identifier stored with the farm is attached to purchases to match delivery to that farm. The game saves the item, transaction identifier, testing or live-store status, and delivered reward before acknowledging delivery to Apple. It does not send receipts to a NekoCode or Supabase server.

Purchase Reporting

RevenueCat is used for App Store purchase reporting through Apple server notifications. Purchase records can include a random app or customer identifier, transaction and product identifiers, price and currency, purchase dates, store or country information, testing or live-store status, and refunds. These records support purchase reporting, support, and dispute handling; RevenueCat does not store or synchronize your gameplay balance. Neither Apple’s purchase history nor Restore recreates spent consumables.

Purchase Records and Privacy Requests

There is no separate Chickubo login account to delete. To request access, correction, or deletion of purchase-reporting or support information NekoCode holds, email nekocode.dev@gmail.com. A redacted Apple receipt or transaction reference may help us locate the record; never send your Apple password or full payment details. We retain information only as needed for the service, support, disputes, misuse prevention, or legal obligations. Provider backups or legally required records may remain after a request. Deleting reporting data does not cancel payments, request a refund, or erase your device or iCloud farm.

Preferences and Permissions

Music and effects volumes, Gentle Motion, and in-game notice preferences are saved with your farm and can be changed in Settings. Notifications means in-game notices, not push messages. Core gameplay does not request location, contacts, camera, or microphone access. The game has no advertising SDK, gameplay-analytics SDK, online chat, or public player profiles.

Support Messages

If you email nekocode.dev@gmail.com, NekoCode and its email provider receive your email address, message, and any screenshots, device details, or purchase references you choose to send. We use them to investigate and reply. We keep support information only as long as needed to handle the request, resolve related issues or disputes, and meet applicable obligations. You choose what to include and may request access, correction, or deletion.

Local Retention and Deletion

Your farm and recovery copies stay in the game’s device storage. Starting a new farm is not complete deletion: purchase-delivery identifiers and one-time offer records may remain to prevent duplicate rewards. Removing app data may erase local files; operating-system backups follow your platform settings. NekoCode cannot remotely erase or guarantee recovery of local saves. Local removal does not delete iCloud, Apple, RevenueCat, or support records.

Providers, Families, and Your Rights

NekoCode does not sell personal information or use it for advertising tracking. Providers acting for NekoCode must protect data consistently with this policy and applicable requirements. Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Parents or guardians should supervise purchases and information sent to support. Contact us if a child’s information should be removed. Depending on your location, you may have rights to obtain, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information, or complain to a data-protection authority.

Links, Updates, and Contact

Website links open your browser and send ordinary requests to the destination’s host. The online policy explains website hosting and an earlier visitor counter removed from Chickubo pages. We update the policy when data practices change. Privacy requests: nekocode.dev@gmail.com.

These website pages

Visiting Chickubo help and policy pages sends ordinary web-request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to hosting and delivery providers. This website is published through GitHub Pages. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement.

Earlier versions included a visitor counter that used browser storage and sent a hash derived from browser and device attributes to a Google Apps Script service. It has been removed from Chickubo pages. Previously stored browser keys may remain until you clear this site’s browser storage; this does not erase a farm in the game. Contact NekoCode about access or deletion of previously submitted counter information. Other NekoCode pages may have different practices.
